On the occasion of the establishment of the IMU Secretariat in Berlin a grant program, called IMU Berlin Einstein Foundation Program (EFP) has been established aiming at the support of interactions of young mathematician from developing and economically disadvantaged countries with the lively mathematical environment in Berlin.
