2010-06-18: Inamori Foundation

The Inamori Foundation promoting academic and cultural development and international understanding, annually awards three Kyoto Prize to those who have contributed significantly in the categories of “Advanced Technology”, “Basic Sciences”, and “Arts and Philosophy”. The laureate for the 2010 Kyoto Prize in the category “Basic Sciences” is IMU President László Lovász for “Outstanding Contributions to Mathematical Sciences Based on Discrete Optimization Algorithms”.
